Along with some of the other interns, Jack and I brainstormed and developed a game called Promptmaster, where one player would generate an image using AI and the other players would have to guess what the prompt was. The closest person would win, based on an AI grader. We hope that we could make a game like JackBox that friends could play while staying over at somebody's house.
One of the first projects I developed with AI was a trash vs. composter sorter powered by a convolutional neural network, or CNN. The problem of contamination between trash and compost is something that is almost never addressed, so with this program, we were hoping to create a way for a robot to sort them out without the need for human intervention. While we got the program itself to work with 86% accuracy, the next steps of uploading it to some kind of robot that could put it into practice are something that we still need to outline and hopefully create.
